Vader staggared forward as his son broke their saber lock, his own lightsaber pushing through the open air. He turned quickly, his wild swings angry, untamed and unskilled. It was uncharictaristic of him to be so sloppy with his attacks, but his anger with everything in general at the time being was blinding, throwing him into a foggy haze of rage from which there would be no easy awakening. The blastingly powerful strikes would be easier to dodge then to block, a testiment to just how sloppy he was being at that moment.
He didn't want his son dead. That was the last thing he wanted. However, in his anger, he was trying to do just that, once again making a mistake that would throw his life into unpleasant drudgery once more. He had killed his wife when he was lost in a similarly hazy fit of rage, and now he was coming close to doing the same to his son. It seemed that history did indeed have a way of repeating itself.
Hopefully, his son would stop him before it was too late.

Luke could feel just how enraged Vader seemed to be, and wasn't that surprised, it was just some sort of sad fact to be recognized. His movements seemed simple and straightforward, not unlike a child hacking away with a stick. Of course, he met each near blow with his own saber, taking it away as soon as they met, playing defensive.
Was it for some greater trick he did not realize? Luke had been fooled before on Bespin. It was mostly due to his own arrogance and recklessness that he begun that battle. That and the fact he couldn't bear to let his friends remain in danger.
Here, however, he felt that he had the upper hand. He was a Jedi now, skilled, who knew what he was doing, not an angry kid running off half-cocked. He had planted the seeds of doubt in his father and hoped that they would grow into something that would save him.
Someday. It didn't feel like that day would be today.
What would he have to do, really, to make Vader listen to him? Tie him up and sit him down in a chair until he behaved? Was it really...too late? He didn't think so. He knew that he could break through. Eventually.
Luke brought his humming green blade up near to his face in a stance and drove it forward towards' Vader's stomach. There were not many ways out of a lightsaber battle. The obvious, of course, was death. And he had absolutely no intention of causing that. Another way, he had experienced before, literal disarming. A third? A retreat, but that was also an option he had no intention of taking.

He was surprised at how his son handled him; never before had he been deflected in such a care-free manner. His rage continued to mount, bringing ever more red to his already distorted vision. Barely seeing the attack as it came in, Vader barely managed to escape a rather painful end. He twisted to the side, rolling into the hit as the blade dashed across his midsection. The burning blade caused smoke to rise from his armor just above the control plate for his suit, drawing a cry of surprised anguish from the dark lord. He was quick to retaliate, flashing in a counter-attack from behind the Jedi Knight's offensive.
Again, he wasn't thinking about what he was doing, just feeling his immense anger and going along with it. He had long abandoned any attempts at using the Force to augment him, for he had far too little focus right now to call out to it. Instead, he was simply feeling its presence as it always was, flowing through him in a torrent of Dark Side energies that guided his motions, but did not otherwise affect them.

Luke was rather surprised to see his blade strike against the black armor, Vader seemed to be in such a state now he either didn't care or was just bent on fighting in any means possible. The sizzling red blade came quick in after his own had struck home, and he had to pull all of his speed together to block it lest he lose his hand again.
He could sense the immense rage and darkness just burning off of the man in front of him, it was literally overwhelming and if he hadn't trained and been taught it would have made him stop fighting and run away or something.
He swung his saber around in an arc to the right, the green light searing through the serene Throne room. His face was a mask of calm, though his mind was whirring with thought, planning, deciding, and wondering about what Vader was thinking.
Of course, Yoda always warned him about his mind being always ahead, never thinking about where he was and what he was doing. He was certainly guilty of that now, not that he was entirely an easily distracted person but more like impatient, not wanting to concentrate on one thing at a time.

Wedge watched the emotional scene with care, for one he didn't want to seem like he was spying, and two...it seemed personal. He kept himself busy by checking the comm frequency every now and then to make sure his troooper id wasn't read, he still had no idea what it was. When she spoke to him again about losing the speeder he understood. "Alright...wait right here," Wedge rode the speeder over to where a tree was, he knew he had to get rid of the speeder, so he rode it up a low sloped log and into the tree. He then made sure it was covered by the leaves before dropping to the grass and coming out in a roll. He thought about his uniform and went behind the tree to pull off the heavy armor, when he came out he wore a black shirt and some jeans. The Rogue Squardon insignia and rank were patched on his arm. His current flight suit was safe with Mynock. He went to the boat and gestured for her to get in. "After you Padame," he said. As he waited he looked at the guards, he knew they would be sad to see her go, as the saying went, until we meet again. She boarded the boat. It took several hours for them to get to the checking point. Padmé all sort of old feelings came back to her as they rode the waves. The crystal blue water had their sun glistening off of the ripples and waves as they sped forward to an island. She was anxious enough to get back over there. It has been ages since she last saw this place. And could remember like it was just yesterday Anakin was helping her out of the boat as they docked. The memory soon died down. For she had to face reality once more. And let her hair flow down as the wind blew it back. She could see the docks not far away now. Home is almost in her reach. But she knew her parents and siblings were long gone. So she had that not to look forward to.

The Falcon sped across space and was now entering the Naboo atmosphere. Han Chewie were eager to get to this planet. They hoped to get there before the place was completely destroyed and plus, Han needed to find Luke. "Luke come in you read me? He's not picking up. Chewie I have a bad feeling about this. He said he'd meet up with us in Naboo. We were lucky to get out of Tattooine." Han flew the Falcon smoothly over the city of Naboo. He peered out the left side of his coc-pit. "I hope he's all reight."
Han tried his best to keep his softer side hid. But when his friends were involved it ment to even sometimes he had to show his gentle side. "Luke , kid do ya read me?" He wasn't giving up on trying to contact with Luke. They've been through so much. He wasn't going to lose his best friend now.

Wedge sat in the boat and looked at the rippling water. His homeplanet of Correlia didn't have that much clean water, he looked at Padame and saw she looked sad. He guessed he'd feel the same way if Correlia was taken over. But it was one of the planets least likely to be on the Emperor's list. Some of the best pilots came from that planet, that...and the ones with the price on their heads. Wedge felt the wind tussle his brown hair and as he looked over at Padame again, he tried to sound positive. "You know, this place has sort of a homely feeling to it, the water is rich...the people friendly...how long have you lived here Padame?"
He hadn't been home in ages, the Rebel Alliance needed their best pilots on the line, that and there wasn't much for him there. His sister was still around, but he rather not even think about that.

Padmé turned her head so she could see Wedge to answer his question. She really couldn't tell him how long exactly. So she had to be minium about her answer. "Too long" she replied. She could see the docks come into clearer view now. Just as the boat docked at ship flew over them. "That's strange." Padmé said looking up at the ship as it soomed past. " No air craft is allowed over this way either. It's all supported by boat transports." She finished.
Padmé looked over at Wedge. And was wondering if he was worried or not. Because she was. The ship was too low anyway. It was as though whoever was pilotting the ship was looking for something or someone.

Wedge knew the feeling, to be somewhere for too long...he then looked up and saw a familiar craft grace the planet with its presence. He smiled as he saw the Falcon. "Don't worry...that ship is no traitor to the Alliance. The pilot is a friend of mine, we come from the planet Correlia. His name is Han Solo, his first mate Chewbaca is a 200 year old wookie. Somehow it doesn't surprise me he's here...he has as much reason to hate the Empire as everyone else."
He saw they were close to the dock and felt relieved, he'd really hate to have to fight...espcially if it meant taking a dive into the cold water.

Padmé sighed in relief. "That's a relief." She was feeling more and more comfortable around Wedge. The boat docked. Padmé walked up and out of the boat. "The area seems okay. I would still keep an eye out. Wedge, do you have a family?" She was so intuned with her past she had to find a way to talk about it.
She could see her old home-stead not far from them. She smiled a little. But sadly her own family came back into her mind. Her son and daughter. She was getting more and more into her identity being exploited. She had a feeling Wedge wouldn't be the type to spread her name across the galaxy. But she waitted patiently for Wedge's reply.

Han looked over and found a nice place to land the Falcon . Luckily it was the same island Wedge and Padmé were on. "Okay Chewie. Luke's around here somewhere. If I can find him on an ice planet I can find him here." Chewie growled softly.
"I hate to leave her by herself. But I didn't see any Imperials over here when we landed." Han said as they slowly walked out of the ship. They both were new to this planet. They only have been here once before. And it was during Han's smuggling job. But that was long ago in the past. " d**n, times like this I wish I had powers like Luke." Han said. Chewie gave him a tilted head look. " Okay pal." He finished.

Wedge knew this would come up, he looked at his feet then took a silent breath. "My parents were killed a long time ago...supposedly it was an accident. I was torn up then, all I could feel was abandonment and pain. My sister is my only sibling alive...she is married to a pilot in the Imperial legion. I try not to think about her husband...seeing as I may have to face off against him in the stars."
He kept his pace slow, but not too slow. She seemed nice, and for someone who lived here long, she sure kept herself elegant looking. He saw the Falcon land some distance away, so he knew they would meet eventually. They were friends, they came from the same planet, but never met on a regular basis. He was a General of troops, he was a Commander in Rogue Squadron, such was the life of the military.

"Keep your eyes peeled huh?" Han ordered Chewie as they travel into the small village of haouses that looked like were once homes to the people of this planet. Han was the cautious type. He has gotten alot better since the Ewok battle on Endor which didn't go down so smoothly. But he's made his mistakes just like everyone else in this galaxy.
"Chewie you see what I see?" He asked as he came up to a dock. And saw a man and aWoman standing near the dock's edge. One of them looked strangely familar. The other he had no clue. She was beautiful though. He was glad Leia wasn't here right now. She'd probably wouldn't like the way he was looking at her. But the man he knew right away. Could it be? Wedge Antillies? It sure did look like him.
"Come on." Han took the chance. He always has. But with caution. For they may think he was in with the Empire. As he got closer he recognized Wedge right away. And sighed in relief! " Hey!" He said coming faster now toward them. "Small galaxy huh?" He asked Wedge.

Padmé was cut off short. She saw Han and the wookie walk toward them. He seemed like a nice man too. Maybe she was misleading herself all these years in thinking men are scum. Because of what her husband did to her. But she kept quiet for it seemed Han was very friendly.
She stepped closer to Wedge though. To feel a little more secure. For she still had her doubts. Who wouldn't?

Wedge was wearing his own grin as he saw the General walk across the green field. "Yeah it a small galaxy, welcome to Naboo Han, or is it General?" He noticed out of the corner of his eye that Padame was a little cautious, he couldn't blame her...the way Han walked and his bodyguard wookie companion, he himself wasn't so prepared first time they met.
