Kuro stood on log that was half submerged in a swamp. The metallic claws dug deep into the wood. It was silent, a little to silent, but Kuro paid little attention to it. Kuro jumped off the log, landing on the shore of the swamp. He hunched over, allowing the cape to drape over him, and he slowly began to make his way around.

Bria wedged her way in between crates, occasionally people, and equipment that had been piled into the transport. She felt more than a little dazed... after all, it's not exactly common to see a planet burst into oblivion in front of your eyes.
She looked around, suddenly unsure of where she was. Opening the nearest door, she slipped in. A quick look around told her that she had found her way to the... well, sometimes they're called the 'bridge'.
Bria sunk into the shadows, knowing very well she wasn't supposed to be there. A sudden voice nearby made her start.
"We need to land and make repairs. We can't fix them from the air." an older man was sitting by the controls, and he sighed as he heard the voice. "Yes. But no one gets off."
Smiling, Bria crept back out the door. Yes, someone would get off- but not someone they knew was on in the first place. She wouldn't be missed. The teenager pushed her way from the room and bolted down the corridor, the screech of the landing gear lowering pointing her in the direction she needed to go.

Kuro blinked, What was that? The cyborg slowly turned his head this way and that. Nothing... Kuro made is way, slowly, toward the sounds. He found a transport, but did nothing to it, instead the blind Kuro backed up to a tree, in hopes of a shadow that would cover him.

Bria slipped out behind a rebel officer, and found herself in the middle of... a swamp. The teenager blinked, surprised. She shrugged it off and moved away from the transport before someone could see her.
The trees loomed above her, moss and vines heavily weighing down their limbs. The soggy earth below her made alternate 'squashing' noises and splashes. Bria tucked herself into the shadows, eyes alert with interest.
The place seemed innocent enough... but their was a strange feeling, a feeling that she was not alone, about the place, making her shiver involuntarily. Something was not right. Subconsciously, the girl took her gun from it's holster, eyes trailing every movement in the swamp.

Kuro's blind eyes trailed after the moving figure that moved away from the transport, in suspiciously less then obvious way. He remained at the base of the tree for some time, motionless. Eventually the cyborg's arm went to his belt and pulled out a single light saber. A low grunt escaped Kuro as a began to slowly, almost soundlessly, make his way toward Bria.

Bria stiffened. A noise almost like a grunt had reached her ears, but most likely, it was nothing. Places such as this were home to a variety of strange creatures, or, that was what she had been told. Most of her missions had been in cities, so she wouldn't know.
Eying her surroundings slowly, Bria turned and gripped one of the lower branches of the tree behind her and swung onto it. Her grey eyes looked about carefully. A flash of movement nearby made her start, but it had disappeared as quickly as it had come. Slowly, the girl stood and gripped the branch above her, ready to climb at a moments notice.

Revan was watching from a tree above. He was wondering if he should help the girl and let her know there was a cyborg coming towards her. Or should he pursue after the girl and help the cyborg.
Revan acted quickly and shouted "Behind you there's a cyborg holding a lightsaber coming your way." Revan jumped down his cape going over his face causing him brush it away so he could see, beside the girl and readied his lightsaber in case the cyborg were to attack. Activating the blue laser coming from the hilt.(I haven't used this in a while I wonder if I'm still good with it.)

The shout from above almost made Bria fall off her branch- at what the voice said, however, made her regain her balance as quickly as possible. She looked around the swamp- but she couldn't see any sign of anything alive but her and the trees.
Something thumped onto the branch beside her, and with a shout, she swung herself off and fell to the ground, rolling so that she could get her gun up to point at whoever it was.
It wasn't the cyborg, then, seeing as he appeared human, but that meant nothing. A flash of blue rose from his hand- he was carrying a lightsaber- something she had only seen once, and that was earlier that day.

Daelin was on the bridge when the order was given that no one was to get off, and she scoffed, getting a dirty look from the Captain. She wasn't a particuarly high ranking member of the Rebellion considering she had just joined, but she wasn't a total youngling at this whole thing, either. She had learned to deal with the suspcion that being a former member of the Imperials brought, though surprisingly most of the Rebels she had met didn't seem bothered by it. Most of them had come from there anyway. But there were always a few that didn't trust these new recruits. She didn't blame them, she wouldn't trust herself either.
Still, it was annoying.
"Excuse me. I was wondering what would happen if we accidentally landed in the path of an Imperial speeder patrol?"
The man rolled his eyes at her. "And so we take them out. Big deal."
"I was thinking one of us should scout the place first so said guy doesn't get a chance to notify anyone that we're here." She crossed her arms, the tan tanktop wrinkling under them. That was one thing she would have to get used to, the rather lax standard on uniforms the Alliance seemed to have. At least, lax compared to the Empire. She felt very uncomfortable wearing...normal clothes. She had baggy pants with pockets for survival gear and a blaster on her side, ready to go.
"Fine. Go scout then. But if you're not back in time, we're leaving you behind."
"Of course. Sir." She saluted promptly as would be expected of her in the Imperial Navy, which resulted in a half-hearted salute back by the man.
And she wasn't really expecting a swamp. Naboo looked so nice from the outside. Being from Coruscant any bits of nature had her fascinated and repulsed at the same time. She gingerly brought up her laced combat boots and bemoaned the state of them, as she always kept her clothes and shoes, neat, tidy, and shined.
Then, some unusual noise. A strange, crackly hum. Then a girl nearby swun off of a branch and pointed her gun at something or someone holding a lightsaber. Daelin had seen that girl before, on the transport, for only an instant and didn't know who she was, except that she disobeyed the order to stay onboard.
The brown-haired woman raised her own blaster, not sure who to point it to.
"Both of you--stand your ground and identify yourself."

Bria stared at the man holding the lightsaber. He still had not answered her, and she was beginning to feel impatient when the sound of a swing branch made her freeze. Suddenly, a young woman came out from the swamp trees- holding a gun.
"You know, it's hard to stand your ground when you're lying on the ground." Bria said sarcastically. She didn't know where the words came from, but it was better than admitting that she was nervous. It had been a long time since someone had pointed a gun at her, and her being helpless. It had happened before, and she had hoped never to repeat the experience.
Deciding on what to do, the young woman rose slowly to her feet, slipping her blaster into the holster- her hand still hovering above the gun, ready to draw.

Daelin's own blaster was still undecided, the lightsaber her first worry though she kept an eye on the hand which hovered above Bria's blaster. She didn't bat an eye at the other girl's remark, even though it was quite true.
"Identify yourself." She said, meaning both. Daelin wasn't outwardly nervous, she rarely showed her emotions and her face was blank and impassive. However, slightly determined. Her stance was slightly unsteady, the ground was unusual and she had absolutely no experience dealing with swamps in her career and living on Coruscant.
"You came from the ship, didn't you?" That question was directly for Bria, of course.

Bria returned the young woman's cold stare, not letting her hand moving away from her blaster. She did remember seeing her for a second when she had slipped into the bridge of the transport, so it wasn't an Imperial in disguise. A wry smile crossed Bria's face. Only an hour ago she wouldn't have worried whether it was a Rebel or not.
"Bria." she said stiffly, her eyes never leaving the young woman. "Yes, I came from the transport. Why would you care about that?"

"I care," the woman said stiffly. "Because you could compromise our position. The Empire must not know we are here."
Quite honestly she suspected they did by now anyway, two X-wing scouts had still not been heard from yet and the way their luck was going, it would only be a matter of time. However, orders were orders. Not exactly a specific order at this time, but it was just a rule--don't compromise the mission.
"You are to come back to the transport immediately. As for you," she motioned her head towards the lightsaber wielding person. "We have no quarrel with you. Good day."

"And I'd give away your position because...? I have nothing to gain from the Empire." Bria said quietly. She felt the old anger coming up, but this time it was swamped by the one thing good she had gained from the streets; stubborness.
"Go back to the transport?" Bria said, silently cursing herself for the words that would not stop. "Why would I?" She knew inside that she was going to go back, but anyway.

"Let that be determined once they have you in one of their holding cells," Daelin said crisply in her prim Coruscani accent. She did not know if the girl was a refugee from Ord Mantell or a member of the Alliance, but if she was a refugee then it was yet another reason to be worried. She was calculating just exactly who this Bria was and what she could possibly want.
"You did sneak off, after all. My first impression tends to that of the negative."
"Most people do what they are told at the point of a gun," she flicked her brown eyes towards the weapon in her hands, though one would notice they were a little more relaxed than before.
