Bria mentally rolled her eyes, but her face remained emotionless. "Of course one would obey someone with a blaster, unless the previous also has one." she said, still quiet. But instead of taking the weapon out of it's holster, she let her hand fall to her side.
"Yes, I did sneak off. And I suppose it'd be time to get back on." Bria admitted, the smallest of smiles in her eyes- it was barely visible.

Daelin's face was also cold and emotionless, but she noted the other's hand relax. She caught a glint of something in her eyes and the other woman lowered her blaster. She didn't place it in her holster, but kept it tightly in her right hand.
"Well then. I guess we should get back to the transport." She was surprised at the girl's lack of contest, she thought she was going to run away or protest again.
"You aren't a member of the Alliance, are you?"

Bria nodded at the young woman's words, and began walked the way she had come. At hearing the other girl's words, however, she turned and stared at her.
"No." she said coldly. "I am not part of the Alliance." and with those words, she began hiking off into the trees, once more, to the way she had come. The earth beneath her began to make the same 'squelching' noise, and the trees began to rise up to their former height.

Thought not, she mused inwardly as she made sure to follow behind the girl as to make sure she got back to where she was supposed to go. She kept her grip tight on the blaster but seemed to not quite get her balance on the swamp ground.
"I don't particularly like this type of land, can't believe we had to stop here" she muttered mostly to herself, getting her boot out from a nasty bit of mud and moss. It was rather obvious she was from Coruscant.

Bria wasn't too far ahead of the other girl, and she could just hear what she muttered. The teenager couldn't help but smirk slightly at her words. "In some ways," she said suddenly. "This is better than Tatooine. While all this mud gets annoying, at least it doesn't get blown up into spontaneous sandstorms."
Bria paused and looked around, frowning slightly. As much as she tried, she couldn't remember if this was the way she had come. But the young woman behind her hadn't corrected her for going the wrong way, so it must be.
Hopefully.

Daelin filed away the information about the girl in her head--so she was from Tatooine. She wondered vaguely what it would be like to be in a spontaneous sandstorm, but then decided it'd probably be quite uncomfortable.
And her sense of direction in a city was quite unparalleled--however, her sense of direction in a swamp was zilch. She had assumed that Bria knew where she was going and didn't want to lose face by admitting she was unsure.
Squelch-squelch-squelch went her combat boots, her face twisted in an expression of disgust.
"Well, the weather is nice and temperate, something to say about this planet. I'm sure the grassy plains and the towns are much more pleasant than this..."

Katarina trailed behind the two other young women, keeping her eyes firmly on either. She kept silent, but that was no problem- being silent was easy after years of practice. Not that she was counting.
Katarina could hear every word of the conversation between the two. (She was mercifully downwind of them, not only adding to her ability to hear their talk, bu also because she had slipped once or twice, and had let own a quiet curse.) Ah, well. So the one in the lead wasn't a rebel. She could easily convince her multiple employers that she was.
Almost as if it was planned, as the one following the girl in the lead finished the last word of her sentence, Katarina slipped and fell headlong into a patch of mud. She surfaced carefully, praying that no one had heard.

Unfortunately for her, Daelin heard it. She stiffened, raising her gun and turning around, half-expecting an entire platoon of Imperial Stormtroopers to burst out from the foilage and wetland.
She tensed, raising her gun, her brown eyes darting two and fro, not sure what to focus on. There, not just beyond those trees. A woman emerging from the mud. For a second her imagination seemed to twist the image she saw and it looked like the woman was some frightening creature coming out of the mud. However she was not lead easily astray by such imaginings and she held her blaster steady.
"Who are you?" Her voice was firm and authoritative.

Bria stiffened as a 'squelch' was heard behind her, and drew her gun and turned quickly. The rebel woman had done the same, and was searching the trees just like she was.
A humanoid form was rising from the mud, and soon enough, it was obvious to tell that the person was human, and a girl, older than herself. She walked closer, but stopped as the other woman began to speak. She kept her own blaster trained on the one still half submerged in the mud, eyes intent.

Daelin gritted her teeth when she heard and saw Bria pull out her weapon. Now her own leverage was gone and if the girl tried anything, like escaping, it might end up in a firefight and she might possibly succeed. Which would compromise the Rebel's position. Which would mean failure.
And Daelin detested failure with every fiber of her being.
However, Bria did not show any sign yet of trying to run away and she had an excellent chance to do so, so she breathed easier for now. Not easy, but easier.
"Get up and let me see your hands," she demanded, not wanting to be in a firefight on this end either, the mud-covered woman could easily have anything hidden down in that mud, no one could see a thing.

Katarina gritted her teeth angrily. One, this was the first glancing mistake she had made in over three years, and two, both women in front of her looked more then ready to use their weapons.
And the fact that the one who seemed older was ordering her to do something didn't help.
Katarina kept her mouth sternly shut at the first question, instead reaching through the mud to a small pouch at her belt. In case something like this happened, she had always kept certain... surprises there. It always paid to prepare for an emergency.
At the rebel woman's words, Katarina couldn't help but smile wickedly. She stood up straight, and help out her hands- one empty but for mud, and the other- a smaller than average, but still effective thermal detonator.

"Turn it off or I'll shoot!" Were the first words out of Daelin's mouth when she saw the smile and the tell-tale shape of the thermal detonator. Of course they were slightly empty words, because Katarina now had the advantage. Sure, Daelin could shoot but they might get blown to bits by then.
She must be a bounty hunter. In it for profit most likely, which meant she might be able to be bought off. Unfortunately the Rebels were rather poor and in always need of credits, however she was well-off due to her saving properly when she was in the Navy and of course because of her family.
Though buying her off would definitely be a last resort since it would be a blow to the ego. She figured she could handle this herself, with or without Bria's help.

Bria could see that the older woman was trying her best to think on the spot. Bria kept her weapon up, not wavering. At the woman's smile, the girl frowned- for good reason.
Bria stared at the thermal detonator it the woman's hand. Things had just turned to the worst. Quickly looking about her and Daelin, she saw that they were far in a thermal detonator's reach of five meters.
Great.

Katarina ignored the rebel's words. Yes, she might get shot, but that wouldn't matter, seeing as she would die anyway if she allowed her thermal detonator to go off in her hand- but so would the other two.
Seeing the younger girl glance around quickly, Katarina once more grinned coldly. "That's right. If you try to run, you won't get more than fifteen feet before this blows." The woman let her empty hand drop back to her side, keeping her gaze firmly ahead. Her mind raced furiously- one, how to get out of here free (and alive), and two, the ever-present thought; how to make a profit from this.

Daelin gritted her teeth, since the muddy woman was right. They could run, but they'd get caught in the blast. There would be a good chance of not surviving, or at the very least, being maimed.
She entertained the idea of shooting the woman's hand, but even though she was a good shot she probably wouldn't be able to do it in one try and run away in time, and anyway the only way out of that situation would be a big BOOM.
There really wasn't any way out of this, even though she detested the idea of surrender.
"I cannot allow us to surrender. Which means you will have to blow us up. All of us." She kept her gun trained on the woman. Alright. Now it was a test of nerves--who would break first?
