"There is no escape. Don't make me destroy you..."
Darth Vader has been a Sith Lord and a leader of the Imperial Military forces for decades. Therefore, since Wes is a rebel, it is only natural that Vader, who has killed children with his own hands and destroyed countless other lives on a whim as well as taking extreme prejudice in destroying any and all rebel threats he sees and even imagines, would be a major target and enemy in Wes's life. However, with Darth Vader's recent surrender to his son and the possibility of his impending defection to the Rebelion, it is possible that Wes and Vader will turn their poor relationship around despite the fact that Vader doesn't even know Wes's name yet.

"You can't look dignified when you're having fun."
Jag has known Wes since he defected from the Empire, and almost instantly the two became good friends. They usually played pranks on the other squadron members. On a few shore leaves, Wes has also been a drinking buddy for Talisman, the two having entered a drunken brawl after two other humans tried to unsuccessfully kick them out of their seats at the counter. In the end though, they're wingmen who would watch each others backs through thick and thin.
