Of all the worlds Bria had been to, she had never, never expected she'd end up back on Tatooine.
Yet here she was, on the same dusty and bare streets of Mos Eisley, attracted glances from curious to disgusted to wary. She had managed to get away from the bounty hunter back on Naboo and get on a random ship- it felt identical to the time when she left the very city beneath her feet. The same city which she had learned so much pain, so much anger.
She was a sight, which was the thing attracting glances. Still covered head to toe in grass stains, slime, and mud, not yet dry, she stuck out like a blotch of orange paint on blue canvas. She stuck to the shadows, her eyes wary and jumping in their sockets.
Her hand strayed to her holster, and she was immediately, and horribly reminded of the time before she had met the jedi on Ord Mantel- cold, angry, and dangerous. But then... it changed. She realized that it wasn't both the Alliance and the Empire who were evil... it was the Empire completely. For a few, glorious, wonderful hours, she thought she had found her place among the rebellion... but then... the bounty hunter.
Her name was Katarina Sho- she hadn't told the person with her that her face was as famous in the 'Underworld' as Darth Vader's or the Emperor's. It was her- another person to loathe- that changed
everything. Sighing, the girl slowly sunk to the ground, drawing her knees up to her chest. Life just wasn't fair... not that she ever had thought it was.
