Name: Katarina Sho
Age: (Approx.) 28
Race: Human
Personality: Katarina can be annoyingly stubborn, but is serious, and can be a bit morbid. Her temperament is cold, and she never cares about life; save her own. She is crafty, and only makes choices that will benefit her in the end. Her allegiance leans almost all the way to the Empire, why is mentioned in a quote of hers: "More jobs open that way." Not the nicest character in the world.
History: Katarina grew up in who knows where- literally. She had never told anyone where she lived; all anyone knew was that one day, when she was about nineteen, she turned up on Coruscant with a blaster over one shoulder, a ship that looked banged-up beyond belief, and a long scar down one cheek, still bleeding.
Beyond that, no one knows how she came to be who she was. Only she knows.
She grew up on the planet of Dantooine. Although it had seen much action over the years, before and after the Empire was formed, it still remained a temperate area. The remote place that Katarina grew up in was particularly quiet and peaceful. And Katarina loathed it there.
Like many people at a young age, she longed for adventure. The closest she found to having that on Dantooine was when Imperials landed on there planet. But even then, all the excitement was far away. What she did see was a glimpse of the first Death Star before it disappeared into the farthest reaches of space. While most would have been frightened, she could never get the amazing sight out of her head.
One day, several small freighter ships landed in one of the towns near her village. She snuck off, and hid away on one of them.
The ship landed in Tatooine- but instead of getting off there, she piloted the ship herself- and left. Accidentally, she ended up in the crossfire of a skirmish, which explained why 'Katarina's ship' was in such bad condition. She was nineteen when she arrived in Coruscant, and now, she is a very skilled bounty hunter.
Weapons (If any): Model 434 Blaster Pistol; Thermal detonator; and if you count ships, her modified MC18 light freighter.
Sample RP, in character: The catina was rowdy this time of night, and though the light-hearted atmosphere didn't show it, even more dangerous than in the day. Why was obvious; less people to hear you scream.
Katarina sat it the back of the raucous, watching as two men got into a fight that quickly ended in laughs, and drowning themselves in more drink. Katarina snorted at their actions. She herself hadn't touched the beverage before her- for more reasons than just her opinion of alcohol.
She was waiting.
Another criminal was on the loose, and the pay was sky-rocket high, to say the least. And best of all were the choices: alive or dead. That saved the problem of trying to catch someone without killing them by accident. That may seem extreme, but when your own life depended on the living or dieing of someone else's, it was good to have that choice.
Katarina's eyes surveyed the thick crowd. He would be in here somewhere. He came her every night at this time. It was only a matter of the previous mention. Narrowed eyes inspected every face. Tonight would be the night.
