Bria nervously glanced from the bounty hunter to the rebel. She began to think quickly, knowing that soon this short conversation would end in a quick and sudden end. The memories of the past day began to filter through her mind, and she sighed heavily.
"How much do you want?" She said blandly, her blaster lowering a fraction. She had saved up a small supply of credits in case something of this sort happened, and it looked like it was time to dip into it. She glanced at Daelin, trying to convey through one look that she knew slightly what she was doing.

Daelin's mouth dropped open a little and she turned her head towards Bria, her eyes exclaiming 'WHAT are you doing?' She caught the other girl's glance and she didn't seem too outwardly desparate, merely resigned. Either that or she had a plan and she would have to trust her.
Heh, trust her. After all that had happened in this short period of time, trust her? She'd just as soon walk off a sidewalk in Corusant and fly to the next building.
Technically it wasn't exactly a bad way of getting out of this, better than getting blown up if the bounty hunter called her bluff.
"I'll take care of it," Daelin said softly, not sure if Bria did have a plan or if she was serious. If she was serious, Daelin had a lot of money saved up (not like she bought much of anything when she worked for the Imperials) and she didn't want to be caught off guard if the price was too high.

Katarina automatically said: "More than you can afford, I'm sure of THAT." But still, that one rebellious part of her mind began questioning what she could get out of the two women in front of her.
Slowly, the young woman's finger moved towards the settings on her thermal detonator, and shut it off. Almost to herself, Katarina muttered a reply. "How much do you have?"
Who knew. There could be a way out of this predicament with her life, and a bit more richer. Anyone could always use extra.

"I've got five-thousand," Daelin said without a trace of emotion or evidence that she had more or less. In fact, she had more, but she wasn't going to throw everything away in one go. If she had to pay at all, she'd haggle first, of course.
Right, haggle with their lives. At least the thermal detonator was off. She wasn't really one for vengence which meant she probably wouldn't go after the bounty hunter after they were out of this. The money didn't mean much. However, she was more than a bit miffed that she had gotten into this situation and that might create enough urge to at least not forget about this incident if she met her again.

Bria relaxed as the bounty hunter turned off her thermal detonator. Luckily, it seemed as they always wanted to get a profit out of things.
At Daelin's words, Bria had to bite the inside of her mouth to keep herself from appearing shock. Five thousand... that was more than double of what she had. "One thousand." She said coldly.

It was all Katarina could do to keep herself from laughing. "Six thousand? That's nothing compared to the other offers I've got." She said, her finger hovering over the thermal detonator's power supply. "You'd got to do better than that."
As she spoke, the woman slowly waded out of the mud- which had now risen past her knees- onto solid ground, closer to the duo in front of her.

Daelin's eyes bore into the thermal detonator like that would make it dissapear. She watched every move the other woman made. In an instant they could have the thing thrown at them and that would be the end of that now, would it?
She didn't want to go higher, but she wasn't quite sure if the woman was either bluffing or serious. If she was serious, they they would indeed have to go higher. Daelin shifted her footing and glanced at Bria. It was very tempting to just make a run for it, but there was no way they would be fast enough.
"Eight-thousand," she said coldly.

Katarina let her hand lower slowly away from the thermal detonator. She could hardly expect to get more, and that was the best offer she had gotten in a while. from who she was trying to catch, anyway.
"Deal." she said. "But if you try to trick me in any way, expect a short and abrupt ending." she lifted the detonator to express what she meant.
((Sorry for the late reply. If this is too late, that's fine, you can just ignore this.))
