The planet was covered in fog, with much of its surface dropping off to clives, limestone caves etched into the side of which. In its capitol, Umgul City, the main attraction was the Blob Races, which was completely dull when compared to the Pod Races of other planets. The people here were simple, peaceful gamblers, seemingly innocent. But somewhere on the planet, a nest of rats was hiding...
It was around this small, unsuspicious, backwater planet that the entire fleet of Death Squadron came out of hyperspace. Within moments, its six Star Destroyers were in positions around its axis, the hundreds of other ships within the enormous fleet blacking out the sky as they finished getting into position for their blockade. Nothing would be getting through this blockade, which was easily a hundred times more intense then the Trade Federation's blocade on Umgul's nighboring planet of Naboo, in less then a hundred fragments.
Darth Vader was there, in this fleet that was so obliviously close to the rebels hiding in the Naboo system. It seemed that the initial stages of the blockade were complete; now there was the search to get under way. Darth Vader beamed a transmission down to the planet's surface, ordering compliance from the government and obedience from the citizens. It was inevitable that people would die here in short order, but with their help it would be possible to limit the origin of deaths to mostly hostile pirates.
"General," he said, not even turning to face the officer as he heard him snap to attention, "Deploy your troops. Search the entire planet; do not stop until you have located the group responsible for this piracy. If your men can, have them take down as many of the pirates as you can, but bring their leaders to me; I want them alive.

Olastian viewed the sky. The darkness looming over sent chills down his spine. Vader's up there, he said to himself. Vader had a stare of death behind his cool, black mask, and a reputation of a terrorizing Reek, but he could not match the mysteriousness of Olastian. It's better to move in the shadows than behind your fleet. Here on this planet, Vader will confront his old student. Olastian was ready.
The black dots started to get bigger until the people standing, starring in the streets, began to panic. They grabbed at their belongings and their children and ran for the thick forests. Olastian stood defiant in the middle of a landing pad as a dropship landed in front of him.

Vader hadn't sensed it at first, but now it was clear to him. "I sense something..." he said as the presence filtered slowly into his mind, pushing its way past his barriers ever so slowly and with a subtlety that Vader had only ever needed to use on Jedi Masters. "This is-" he started, but he cut himself off. "General!" he shouted out, a bit of fear turning to rage in his voice as he gave the command, "You are in charge for now." He turned away from the officer and stormed off of the bridge. "Prepare my shuttle!"
What was the boy doing here? Was it possible that he was connected to the piracy that even now was plaguing the planet? If so, he would be completely destroyed here and now. Darth Vader had no doubt that his powers were more then a match for his old student's. Even as his shuttle descended to the surface, though, he was beginning to regret secretly taking on an apprentice behind the Emperor's back.
He was once again on the landing ramp as it lowered, walking off of the shuttle and approaching his student without the slightest sign of hesetation. He said not a word, though his lightsaber floated into his hand and remained there, calmly and silently. Finally, it was Vader who spoke the first word. "I had not expected to find you here, my young apprentice."

"Things usually don't turn out the way you want or expected, Vader; but your history shows that without my need to say. I knew you would come."
Two heavily armed imperial troops came out of the shuttle. They stood to either side of Vader. They leveled their rifles at Olastian. "Your minions are feeble, Vader."
Olastian rose his arms and made a motion with his hands. The troopers flew through the air and crashed through a brick building. Olastian drew his lightsaber and activated it; he ran at Vader, swinging his sith blade at the Dark Lord.

Vader easily blocked the saber stroke, igniting his own weapon even as he shifted the motion to the side. He held the lock for a few moments just to show off a bit, then put his weight behind it and threw him away, still acting one-handed as he had in his first duel with his son. "You learned your lessons well," Darth Vader said honestly, "But you are not a true Sith yet." He extinguished his saber once more, waiting for the reaction that would inevitably come from his old apprentice, Olastian, who, in his opinion, no more deserved the title "Darth" then the old Brotherhood of Darkness did when it waged its catastrophic failure of a war against the Republic.
Perhaps this was destiny? Vader couldn't help but considder the possibility as he had stood there holding the lightsaber lock. He had made a mistake by taking Olastian in as an apprentice, and now destiny had lead him to the time and place where he would be able to correct that mistake. With any luck, the Emperor would still know nothing about it when the whole affair was over, but even if he found out... Well, at least Vader knew that his master wouldn't kill him for it.
'Not so for Olastian,' Vader said as he brought his mind back to the present. "You never should have left me, young Dark Jedi," he said as he stood there. "Obedience would have served you well, but instead you chose the path of death."

Heh, you machine, Olastian though. "I spit on the title 'Sith!' I am myself. I carry no banner nor title." Olastian wielded his lightsaber in Vaapad form. He channeled his strength and anger into his lightsaber.
Destiny had brought them together again. On a planet in the middle of the Outer Rim, to duel again. Olastian was fighting for keeps. Vader killed everyone he knew and everything he owned. Vader was a tyrant. He destroyed lives, homes, planets. Olastian was in no way defending the light side, but he was condeming the dark. Olastian swung at Vader again with all his might.

As soon as the transport had landed, Nom had been heading for vader. As he rounded a corner he knelt without looking. "My lord, Group Zero has arrived..." His voice trailed when he looked up to see what was unfolding.

Vader had seen this a hundred times and more during the Jedi Purge. He felt little more then a sting at that bad memory, not allowing his mind to trail from the present as he ignited his sabe again. Ducking low, he stepped to the side, allowing the saber to pass effortlessly by him. With all the strength that was put behind it, it would doubtless throw the young Dark Jedi off balance, an event that Darth Vader was ready and waiting to use to his own advantage.
"All too easy," he commented as he swung his own lightsaber, already behind the young man's defenses, in for a killing blow. His aim was at his torso, the strike meant to completely bisect his opponent before the combat could truly get deadly. With no defenses up, Vader estimated that he would be unable to block the attack and hard-pressed to dodge it, but if he did it wouldn't be the first time he had been taken by surprise, and he was ready for that contingency just in case.
He was almost thrown off by the Stormtrooper's greeting, though he pushed the words out of his mind before they had ever registered and turned his 'Ignore Button' on. He would deal with the trooper when combat was over. For now, he had to remain focused on Darth Olastian; A single careless mistake in a Lightsaber Duel meant death, and a lack of focus lead to careless mistakes. Vader refused to be a careless person, which was a large part of the reason he was still alive.

The sith rogue used this interruption to get the upper hand. Olastian called upon the force, and the Trooper flew though the air and collided with Vader. Olastian turned and started to sprint away. Some of the Stormtroopers opened fire upon Olastian, but he easily deflected them. he headed into the deserted streets and into a back alleyway, disappearing into the shadows.

Darth Vader watched as he sprinted away, extinguishing his lightsaber as he allowed his old apprentice to leave the area. He would not be so lucky the next time they met, Vader would see to that personally. For now, there was nothing he could do about it; he'd pursue the Dark Jedi personally when time allowed for it. At present, though... Darth Vader recognised the trooper on a second glance as somebody he'd put his faith and confidence in several times before. "What is the status of your team, General?" Vader asked him.

Falco was cruising in the Ironhawk, his muscles relaxed as he zoomed through hyperspace. Since Wae's death, Falco had grown famous for killing Alliance and Empire alike. His grim expression accented his relaxed poise, as he loosely controlled the ship's panels. Umgal was his next stop, where he had to deliver a batch of rare Corellian spices and rum to a a rich crime syndicate. He knew that it was probably worth more than what he was getting paid, but then again, reputation is sometimes a better reward.
"Approaching Umgal City. Dissengaging all hyperspace controls."
Falco sighed as he did brief system check. Everything fine. With the hyperspace disengaging he spun the the ship effortlessly towards his location... Empire. Falco's body tensed and his mind felt like it was on fire.
"Computer, initiate stealth mode immediately!"
The distinct sound of low humming and beeps sounded as his ship suddenly turned invisible. Falco's concentrated eyes focused in on one certain ship. If the Empire technology sensed him, he would be toast. He zoomed down and got closer to the planet. Suddenly, his head felt like it was burning. He sensed something, but how? When he was captured by the Empire, did they implant something into his head, or was he just afraid? No, I am neve afraid. This has to be something else. His ship cruised down to the landing pad. As he got closer, he spotted something... Vader! Falco's eyes snapped onto the black-armored man. He knew Vader was a leader in the Empire, and in addition a Sith. Even though Vader had tried to tempt him to become an Empire warrior, Falco escaped, at the moment being hateful and narrow-minded. He knew he could come to love the power, but he had no love for the Empire and their goal. Falco quickly landed the ship on a different landing dock, stealth mode still intact. He jumped out of the hold and swiped his conterfeit card into the ID slot.
'Jorgan Hromm, 42, Govenor of Lybb.'
Falco ran through the security gate and spun around. He ran down the landing halls and turned. He saw Vader and a mysterious-looking man seemingly locked in combat. Falco stepped in. Hopefully Vader could not 'sense' his appearance, as did force-sensitive people in the history lores and tales he had read.
OCC: Hey Darth Vader, to be clear, if this is okay, in my history my friend Wae was captured for being an Imperial 'traitor.' I was captured and you tried to lure me to the dark side. I was oblivious to this fact, because I do not know I am force-sensitive. You sensed it within me, but you never said anything. You taught me the Dark fighting arts, Jar'Kai the lightsaber style, and Vaapad/Djem So styles. I collaberated them, as well as escaped from the Empire on my ship. I was what you considered a 'extremely firce-gifted apprentice' who was not wise or powerful enough to accept the dark side. This explains me getting a headache when I get near you.

((That's fine with me; what I'm bugged by is the fact that you could slip by the imperial ships in stealth mode. The Imps would be capable of picking up just about anything with its the tech at their disposal. But no worries, I can fix that shortly.))
Vader was torn from his discussion with the General a few moments later, as a message came out to him. He took out his holoprojector and looked on as he was told that a ship was approaching the blocade in stealth mode, trying to reach the planet undetected. At once, Vader could sense another of his old apprentices. "Let him through," the Dark Lord commanded, turning his head momentarily to the skies. He shut off the holoprojector as the admiral acknowledged his orders. "General," he said immediately afterward, "I want you to take Squad Zero and infiltrate Umgul City. Your objective is to find information on the pirates hiding on this planet. You are authorised to use any means necessary to get the information you need; bring any surviving prisoners to my flagship."
He called up the Dark Side with that, building it in his mechanical legs as he headed for the platform his old trainee was on. With one great, force-empowered leap, Vader was on it. His lightsaber ignited as he held it toward the door, a few slashes melting the metal away in a matter of seconds. He stepped through it casually, looking about the place even as he blocked its only entrance. "So," he called out as he spotted and started toward Falco, "You have come to this place as well? At last, the circle is complete." His lightsaber was still active as he walked. "It seems destiny has given me a chance to rectify my mistake."

"Curse the Force," muttered Falco under his breath. He took out his two lightsabers and and stepped farther away from Vader. Falco was not feeling cocky and arrogant at all, but in fact very concentrated. Oddly, his muscles were not tensed, but very relaxed. He knew Vader was not an obstacle, but a death-wishing opponent. "Vader," Falco said in a whispering voice, "Somehow I knew you were going to find me, with that corroded mask of yours looking at me. Good thing you trained me in the lightsaber arts. Guess you never thought I'd show up, did ya?"
Falco decided to play it safe and back off, emitting the glowing dark blades of his lightsabers. "Vader," he taunted, "I saw you fighting that fool. Are you coming to me because your scared?" Falco swung his lightsabers around his body loosely, his arms relaxed. He stepped back further and then stood in a defensive lightsaber stance.
"I have no reason to fight you. You are a mere memory of the harshness I went through. I do not acknowledge you for teaching me anything but killing techniques." Falco laughed bitterly and added, "And because of that, my mentor Wae lies in his death."

Vader did not hesitate even as he heard the words of the young one. He didn't care what he had to say; his words were meaningless. Vader didn't know weather he was begging for his life or simply trying to taunt him, as he had completely ignored everything he had just said. Conversion was not an option for this one, as Vader knew all too well. For him... Death was the only option at this point.
"It is pointless to speak," Vader told him when the noises stopped coming from his mouth. "You have come here because you were meant to come here. The Force has brought us together once again so that I can destroy my past mistake before it grows out of controll. In this place, I will destroy you. It is your destiny." Behind him, all manner of objects from boxes to barrels to desks and chairs started moving toward the broken door, blocking the exit from view completely.
Now the choise was handed off to his failed apprentice. Would he continue to stand there trying to taunt Vader into action, or would he at last strike out at the dark lord? Either way, his time was short, his days numbered to one, and the Sith would enjoy cutting him down. It was no small thing, after all, to be trained by Darth Vader, and an apprenticeship to him was not to be lightly cut off.
