The 2nd Death Star didn't blow up.

The Rebels lost.

Darth Vader didn't die.

Neither did the Emperor.

But the Rebellion isn't giving up yet.

The group of Rebels on Endor were captured, despite the help of the Ewoks. Luke was nearly killed by the Emperor but Darth Vader simply distracted the Emperor with another matter (the capture of the Rebel group on the moon, most likely) and the young Skywalker was bought enough time to escape from the Throne Room.

There he met with his friends who were being brought on board the Death Star and they staged a daring escape once more. The Rebellion suffered a catastrophic loss and just barely managed to make it out in time with a pitiful number of ships left. The Millenium Falcon came to the rescue yet again and picked everyone up at the Death Star and got away to safety.

The Empire lives on...

...but the Jedi and the Rebellion aren't done yet.

There's going to be another battle for another day. Whether that's in a few months or twenty years...only the Force knows.

This takes place before the events on Ord Mantell and Naboo.

It was dangerous walking around in Imperial Center. Or Coruscant. Whichever name one preferred. Daelin particularly preferred the latter since she had joined the Alliance. Imperial Center had rotten memories of most of her life wasted serving the wrong side.

She was here to check up on her parents and see how they were doing--however without actually going to see them personally. She didn't think she could explain to them ever about joining the Alliance. Better for them to believe that she was still in the Empire on some far off mission on the outer rim for years. She couldn't bring herself to lie to them so that was the best option without breaking the news about her defection. They were such supporters of the Empire, and she wasn't sure if it was real or if it was to simply escape notice and remain unscathed--after all, they did live right in the heart of the Empire. Everyone heard what happened to dissidents and people with 'opinions not in line with the Empire's agenda'--you never heard from them again.

And if word ever got out that their daughter was a member of the Rebellion? She couldn't bear to think what would happen to them.

But after passing by their old house and taking a peek in, they seemed to be doing just fine. Holding their lavish parties as usual. Something about home life that she didn't miss.

So now she was heading back towards the port, leaving her old neighborhood and haunts behind. She had to stop herself from saying hi to an old friend she passed by, or an old shopkeeper that used to give her candy as a little girl. She was disguised in a swath of black robe with a porcelain white mask over her face, pretending to be a dignitary from some far off, barely heard of world. However, as soon as she was a safe distance away near the bustling area near the spaceport with its thousands of restaurants and even more stores, she dumped the black robe and mask and simply wore her regular clothes--baggy trousers with its many large pockets and a simple tight green tunic, blaster hidden on her person.

The 'visiting dignitary' disguise would prompt too many questions when buying a ticket to a cheap transport. She looked like a regular person, now.

As long as no one noticed her, no one recognized her now, she'd be home free.

Deckard walked briskley through the streets. Jedi were easy to recognize they all wore the same Training tunics and the same long dark cloaks. But it had been years and years since a Jedi stepped foot on coruscant. But this was unavoidable someone from the covenant was needed on the planet. it was important. As Deckard passed a side alley he saw her. As she threw off the garments he could tell whoever she was, was not an imp. Deckard didn't know if she knew that he was watching her he recomposed himself quickly and headed off. this was no place for anyone outside of the empire to be. He would have to keep an eye out.

Daelin wasn't too much in a hurry (besides the fact that she was in the heart of the enemy's territory) so she paused at a small outdoor cafe to pick up a cup of vine-caffine while she was waiting for the transport to arrive.

While in line, she glanced at her surroundings and her attention came to a man with a peculiar set of clothes. If she wasn't dreaming, it seemed like a Jedi's clothes. But that was impossible--Jedi were dead. And for one to be here, that was doubly impossible. No way would one come here.

Unless that was the trick--so crazy that it just might work. She looked at the long line again and decided she'd rather spend her remaining time on this curiosity than another plain cup of vine-caffeine. She wasn't a particularly adventurous sort but when her curiousity was piqued she was like the proverbial feline.

Walking brusquely but not obviously, she pretended to bump into the Jedi-looking person by accident.

"I'm sorry! Sorry." She apologized immediately and used the moment to smile vapidly like she was a simple girl.

"Wow, you must be an actor or something, wearing that. Haven't seen the likes of your clothes in forever. When is your holo opening?" As if he was merely an actor going off the set of the latest holo-movie.

Either she had noticed whom she really was or was serious, either way he could not risk anyone overhearing them. He had to be cautious no matter what, His kind was believed to be dead. As he spoke he used the force to guide his words careful not to slip too much info but enough that if this girl was smart would catch on.

"I am, but i am not sure when the opening is. You see we are in need of some more people to play some parts, Would you by chance want to play a part? The theater is not far from here and i believe it would be in your best interest if you followed me."

There he had said it. Deckard hoped she would have caught on, He wouldn't want to waste very valuable time. He knew that no matter what she chose she was not loyal to Darth Sidius nor the empire. Deckard stood there waiting for a reply his ship, "Aqua" was not far from here and he could easily get her off this planet undetected. After all no one knew he came on the planet in the first place.

Daelin stared at him a moment, letting the words register. The dumb smile faded as she realized the hidden meaning behind them. He really was a true Jedi, most probably. Which meant this was a rare find indeed. She wondered why he didn't just dismiss her and be on his way, what had he seen on her that made him want to speak with her more?

"Oh, indeed, I really do want to! Thank you."

She gave another smile but this time caught him with her eyes and gave him a serious stare down, hoping he would get that she understood what he was trying to say.

It's not like they could actually 'speak' about what they wanted out in the open. Imperials, needless to say, were everywhere, if in fact not everyone. If the word Jedi were to slip too many times, well...they had better get where they were going, fast.

The girl was not as dumb as most Deckard encountered. He nodded and started walking hoping she would get the hint and follow. They had spoken enough. He walked towards his ship "Aqua" they would need to talk about securing her way off the planet and if she really was a member of the Alliance he would need her help.
